What is it?
visualSail
gives you a full three dimensional replay of a sailboat race.
Import your Gps data from each boat to watch the race and analyze
statistics and graphs. Speed, velocity made good, time on each tack and many others
help you gain a solid objective perspective.
You're the Camera-Man
Move the camera to any position, follow any boat, zoom
in and out, or watch from multiple angles at the same time.
visualSail allows you
to speed up, slow down, reverse, and jump around in time.
Record a video of your replay, burn it to a dvd, or upload to youTube.
It's the ultimate birds-eye-view.
Your Personal Statistician
Analyze every aspect of the race. Which tack was favored?
Who got that perfect lifter? Did venturing out
to the other side of the course help or hurt?
Answer these questions any many more with comprehensive statistics and graphs.
Want to share? visualSail
will export your statistics into a web friendly format for you to email or post on the web.
Ease of Use
visualSail is
designed to be extremely easy to use, but extremely powerful. It can import data from your gps units
in just about any format your gps might use. It automatically calculates the
location of your race and downloads satellite imagery of the area. Creating the race course
is simple, just drag and drop marks onto the course, then enter which order they need to be rounded.
Show it Any Time, Anywhere
Virtually everything in visualSail
can be saved in a web friendly format. The 3d display can record YouTube video and snap images. If you have photos from
the race they can be loaded and shown right along side the replay. Statistics can be exported
into a web page, and graphs can be saved as images. You can build the ultimate post race wrap-up.
